Hello. My name is Sophie Harel.
I am the owner and manager of the U Can U Gatu grooming salon
I have always worked with animals, especially with cats and dogs. For several years, I worked as a veterinarian’s assistant, before opening my own salon. I was also a dog trainer, and I raised many puppies (German Shepherd, Boston Terrier, Norwich Terrier, Chihuahua…)
With “Impact”, my German Shepherd, I discovered all the different canine disciplines: tracking, agility, obedience, ring, rescue dogs (1st certified rescue dog of Monaco). I was also a security guard and a dog handler.
With my bitch “D.Day”, I learned about search dogs (looking for missing people). With her, I went to Brignoles to train with fire brigade. For all these years, my love for dogs and cats has remained unchanged.
In 2018, I started cat breeding, working with different breeds: the British Shorthair, the Scottish Fold, and Scottish Straight, all from Chanel’s Land cattery. With them, I take part in exhibitions where they often win prizes. Since 2020, we have been organising, along with the Monaco-based association De Gati De Munegu, the international feline exhibition held each autumn at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille.

Hello, my name is Chloé, I obtained my dog and cat grooming diploma at the CFA of Arras in 2013.
My dream has always been to take care of animals, and since 2014 I am fulfilling this dream every day by providing the best possible care to your four-legged friends at U Can U Gatu.

Hello, my name is Mélanie, and I am 33.
When I was 13, already an animal lover, I started providing grooming services and I have remained passionate about my work.
I have been a part of the U Can U Gatu team since 2017, and I am delighted to take care of your little furballs.

Hello, I am Coralie, and I worked for four years in sales. In search of a new career, I wanted to retrain, and I completed various internships, as a veterinarian’s assistant, an animal caretaker in a zoo, and as a cat and dog groomer. Finally, I decided to improve the lives of our adored pets.
Now I hold a State diploma, which I obtained cum laude in July 2021, and in August 2021 I was recruited by U Can U Gatu.
It is more than a job for me, it is a love affair.

Hello, my name is Valentina, and I am from Italy. I have always loved animals.
When I was little, I read many books about animals, and I have always had pets at home.
For several years I volunteered at an animal shelter in Italy.
I love advising clients on perfect products that will meet their needs.
I look forward to welcoming you at the salon.
